Netflix Film <The Great Flood> Premieres at the 30th Busan International Film Festival

The Netflix original The Great Flood, featuring music directed by Junoh Lee, has been invited to the “Korean Cinema Today – Special Premiere” section of the 30th Busan International Film Festival, where it will be presented to audiences. This screening offers a rare opportunity to experience the film ahead of its official global release, drawing significant anticipation.

Directed by Kim Byung-woo and starring Kim Da-mi and Park Hae-soo, The Great Flood showcases powerful performances and gripping tension. The film will be screened during the 30th Busan International Film Festival, which opens on September 17, 2025, at major venues including the Busan Cinema Center, CGV Centum City, and Lotte Cinema Centum City. The recently unveiled teaser poster depicts a towering apartment complex submerged by a massive flood, with faint silhouettes of figures inside, accompanied by the tagline: “On the last day of the world, one choice for humanity.” The imagery intensifies the sense of urgency and drama the film promises to deliver.

Following its premiere at BIFF, The Great Flood will be released worldwide on Netflix on December 19, 2025.
