‘S Line’ — The only Korean entry invited to the long-form competition at Cannes International Series.

The drama “S Line”(Directed by Jooyoung Ahn), with music directed by Junoh Lee, has been officially invited to the Long-Form Competition at the 2025 Cannes International Series Festival.

Out of the eight series selected for this category, it is the only entry from Korea this year.

Based on the webtoon of the same name by Kkomabi, well known as the creator of the Netflix series A Killer Paradox", S Line explores a world where a red line appears above people’s heads, connecting those who have been sexually involved—regardless of time and place. The cast includes Lee Soo-hyuk, Lee Da-hee, and Arin, and the production was also selected for support by the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) as part of its OTT-focused content development program.

This marks the third time a Korean series has been selected for the Long-Form Competition at Canneseries. “Mother” (tvN, 2018) and “Bargain” (TVING, 2023) were previously invited.

The awards ceremony will be held on April 29, presenting honors across nine categories including Best Series, Best Music, Best Screenplay, and Best Performance.
